Ed Beard Jr.

Fantasy Artist Ed Beard Jr. has created thousands of published works ranging from a painting for the Vatican as a youth to Dungeons and Dragons, Magic the Gathering Card games, book covers and fantasy titles of all kinds over his 25 year career. Ed is best known for his unique vision of Dragons and the fact that he is one of the few traditionalist painters who use the “Hand Painted” techniques without any form of computer or digital shortcuts. Ed is the founder of “Hand Painted Masters.org”. This organization celebrates what Ed holds true to, in maintaining the tradition craft skill set and critical thought process and dexterity that goes into each brush stroke to create a one of a kind art work. With over 1000 published cards and hundreds of other interior and cover works Ed's art can be found just about anywhere. Ed has released his own full color Art book called "The Enchanted Realm, also, Ed has illustrated the 2007 "Dragon" calendar internationally distributed.
